Good value for Old Town
We are fussy about where we sleep. Parking on site and free, which in Prague saved us more than the room rate difference. Hard to beat the position: Old Town Square one way, the market the other, and no need for a taxi all week.
Street parking is free after half past ten and impossible before it.

As good as Prague gets
Astonishingly quiet for somewhere this central - we never heard the street once. Living like a resident rather than a guest for a week: market, kitchen, balcony, repeat.
There is no fridge in the room, so the wine we bought stayed warm.

Not what the photos promised
Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer. Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out.
Blackout blinds would make a difference in November, when it is bright by half past seven.

Lovely, if you don't mind stairs
Check-in was quick and human, and they remembered my names for the rest of the stay. Cheaper than the chain hotels two streets over and considerably nicer. The kitchen has everything, including sharp knives and a decent pan, so I cooked most nights.
One small lift for five floors - fine unless everyone checks out at once.

ten minutes from Astronomical Clock
Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked. Easy to park right outside and no hunting around at midnight.
Not a single thing, which almost never happens.

Two nights was enough
Two nights, and two would have been plenty. They keep a pillow menu at reception and actually bring what you ask for. Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer.
Bin lorry at about half past seven on the Tuesday, and we heard every bottle.
