8.9Lovely, if you don't mind stairs
They put a cot in without being asked and left a small plate of fruit for our two; housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms. The wifi held up through a two-hour video call without a single drop.
Hot water was slow to arrive on the third floor first thing. Check-in is not until four and there is nowhere comfortable to wait.

Blackout blinds would make a difference in November, when it is bright by half past six.

10.0Faultless from start to finish
A real desk with a real chair and a socket at elbow height - somebody has actually worked in a hotel room before. The stairs creak in a way that is either charming or annoying depending on how tired you are.
The lift takes one suitcase and a hopeful expression, so there is a queue at half past ten in the morning.

Easy place to be a group without annoying anyone.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed.

Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
Wifi drops in the far rooms, so I took calls in the lobby.

Delivery vans start up under the window from around half past seven. We asked twice about the noise and nothing came of it.
