Book it and stop looking
I arrived hours early and they took the cases without a fuss, then messaged when the room was ready.
We could not find anything to complain about.

Would look elsewhere next time
Booked on the photographs, which was my mistake. Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
Pillows are enormous and there is no alternative on offer.

Disappointing, sadly
Easy place to stay on your own, and the area is fine to walk at night.
There is a bar on the corner that empties out noisily on a Tuesday night. The kitchen closes at eleven, which I found out the hard way on the Wednesday.

Handy for Boulders Beach
Plenty of storage in the Junior Suite, which sounds dull until you have unpacked for a fortnight. Proper shower pressure and hot water immediately, not after a minute of hoping.
The shower head is fixed high on the wall and cannot be angled.

Ten out of ten for Sea Point
The courtyard rooms hear nothing but pigeons, which is the whole point. We are not usually breakfast people and we went down every morning.

Fine, but not at that price
Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside.
No air conditioning, and August in Cape Town is warm - the fan only does so much.
