our youngest were happy, which is most of the review.
There is construction across the street that starts at six, so bring earplugs. We were reminded about the half past nine checkout twice on the Sunday, which felt unnecessary.

3.0Checked out early and did not look back
It is quiet during the day, if that is any use to anyone. One of the cleaners was lovely and clearly working with nothing.
The lift was out of order the whole week and there is no sign of it being fixed. Breakfast was advertised and included, then turned out to be cereal and instant coffee. The bed linen was stained. I asked for it to be changed and waited until nearly half past nine that night. The desk was stretched thin and it showed - five requests went unanswered.

The heating was already on when we arrived, which in November matters more than any spa.
The shower head is fixed high on the wall and cannot be angled.

Two nights in and we were sleeping through until eight, which never happens for us.

7.4Fine, and fine is enough
Long weekend, first time in Mount Pleasant. The kettle was already descaled, which is the kind of detail that tells you how a place is run. Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs. Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced.
The walk back from Grouse Mountain is all uphill, which I had not thought about.

Two bus routes and a tram stop within a few minutes, so we got around easily. the children were happy, which is most of the review. Clean and tidy throughout the stay.
The bathroom door catches on the bed frame, which tells you the size of the Superior Twin Room.
