Room for improvement
Parking is available and reasonably priced for the area.
The walk back from Art Deco District is all uphill, which we had not thought about.

Expected far more
Booked on the photographs, which was my mistake. The room was at least clean when we arrived.
A bottle of water in the room costs what a bottle of wine costs on the corner. Street noise at the front until the bars close - ask for a room over the courtyard.

Clean and central, not much else
Straight to it: the location is the thing. Location is the strong point - seven minutes to Art Deco District and a metro stop close by.
The extractor does not cope, so the mirror is useless after the first shower.

Exactly right
We are fussy about where we sleep. The courtyard rooms hear nothing but pigeons, which is the whole point. Our taxi driver could not find the entrance and drove past it twice, so save the map pin.

Half worked, half didn't
Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about. Wifi was quick enough for email, maps and an evening of streaming. You get more for the money here than at the two places we priced up in Little Havana. Comfortable bed, and they brought firmer pillows within ten minutes of asking.
No screens on the windows, so it is a choice between the heat and the mosquitoes. One small lift for four floors - fine unless everyone checks out at once.

Easy stay, no dramas
Turned up late, tired and grumpy, and were looked after. Living like a resident rather than a guest for a week: market, kitchen, balcony, repeat. We arrived hours early and they took the suitcases without a fuss, then messaged when the room was ready. For Miami, this is a properly central spot without the coach parties.
The curtains do not quite meet in the middle, so you are up with the light.
