Fine for a couple of nights
Location is the strong point - seven minutes to Vondelpark and a metro stop close by. There is a shortcut through the square that saves about five minutes and somebody drew it on our map.
It is uphill from the metro, which you feel with the suitcases in the heat.

Does the job
Clean and tidy throughout the stay. Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced; comfortable bed, and they brought firmer pillows within ten minutes of asking.
You have to log in again every day, which is a small irritation that adds up over four nights.

Good bones, tired edges
Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning. Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing.
The city tax and the cleaning fee together came as a surprise at checkout.

Simple and clean
There is a lift, which I was glad of on the way up with my rucksack. Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs.
There is a bar on the corner that empties out noisily on a Tuesday night.

Left early
The location is genuinely good, and that is the only reason this is not lower. Cheap, and now I understand why.
Wifi dropped out constantly, which mattered because I was working. The bed linen was stained. We asked for it to be changed and waited until nearly nine that night. The fridge in the Suite had somebody else's food in it.
