9.6Rare to get it all right
Hard to beat the position: Museum of Islamic Art one way, the market the other, and no need for a taxi all week. our son were in the pool from nine until they were dragged out, and the shallow end is properly shallow. They kept my rucksack until the evening flight and even brought them down to the taxi.

7.8Right for a short stay
Comfortable bed, and they brought firmer pillows within ten minutes of asking. Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing. our youngest were happy, which is most of the review.
We were reminded about the half past ten checkout twice on the Sunday, which felt unnecessary.

6.6Better options in Katara
Parking is available and reasonably priced for the area. Worked well for a group of us, with somewhere to sit together in the evening. They lent us an umbrella on the wet Tuesday and did not ask for it back until we left.
Nobody told us the restaurant was closed for the week until we turned up hungry on the Saturday.

5.3Poor value in Katara
Two nights, and two would have been plenty. A washing machine in the flat, which halfway through a long trip is a real thing. Three rooms on the same floor, which saved a lot of shouting up stairwells.
The sofa bed in the Standard Double Room is not somewhere you would want a second week. Housekeeping missed us entirely on the Saturday.

10.0The terrace alone is worth it
Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked. Small gym but everything works, and it is open at six when I need it. The airport transfer was waiting with our name up at one in the morning, which took all the stress out of arriving.
