Fine if you're out all day
Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer.
Checkout is ten and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.

Does the job
Our taxi driver could not find the entrance and drove past it twice, so save the map pin. A desk of a usable size, a proper chair and sockets where you need them. Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer.
Thin walls, so we knew a fair amount about our neighbours and their travel plans.

Ten out of ten for Abdoun
Third time in Amman and the first time I have got the hotel right. I forgot it was a public holiday and they sorted me a table anyway. Walking back from Rainbow Street after dinner took five minutes and never once felt like a trek. The flat is bigger than the photographs suggest and cleverly laid out.
Not one thing in two nights.

Regretted it by the second night
The building is beautiful from the outside.
The kitchen was missing most of what you would need to cook, despite the listing. Breakfast was advertised and included, then turned out to be cereal and instant coffee. Nobody was on the desk for long stretches, so I stood in the lobby with my bags for fifteen minutes at check-in. The hot water failed on the first morning and was still off when I left.

Would recommend with one caveat
Oil, salt, coffee and a corkscrew already there - whoever set this up has actually travelled. Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night.
Getting a taxi to find the entrance took some explaining.

A stay of two halves
The neighbour opposite waters her balcony at seven every morning and says hello. Straightforward self check-in and a well-equipped flat. Grace at the desk was the standout - patient and genuinely useful.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed.
