6.1Would not book again
The room was at least clean when we arrived.
The grouting in the bathroom is tired and no amount of cleaning will fix it now.

8.8Ticked every box that mattered
The courtyard rooms hear nothing but pigeons, which is the whole point. Proper shower pressure and hot water immediately, not after a minute of hoping. Slept better than at home, which after four flights in a week is saying something.

2.2Regretted it by the second night
Honestly, very little. We were out from early until late to avoid being in the flat.
There was mould in the corner of the bathroom ceiling and the extractor did not work. We were given a different room from the one we booked, smaller and facing the bins, with no adjustment to the price. The room smelled strongly of damp and the window did not open to air it out.

8.6Would recommend with one caveat
The heating was already on when we arrived, which in December matters more than any spa. The building is residential, so the stairwell smells of somebody's dinner rather than air freshener. Firm mattress, which suits us, and a duvet that is not the usual thin thing.
We were reminded about the half past nine checkout twice on the Saturday, which felt unnecessary.

6.5Tired and overpriced
They keep a pillow menu at reception and actually bring what you ask for. The radiator clanked at about two in the morning and then settled down, and honestly we grew fond of it. You get more for the money here than at the two places we priced up in Msheireb. Straightforward self check-in and a well-equipped flat.
The mattress dips in the middle, which after three nights you notice.

9.2Pleasant few nights
Living like a resident rather than a guest for a week: market, kitchen, balcony, repeat.
Checkout is eleven and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast. Shower pressure drops off when the floor is busy at about half past six.
