9.1Lovely, if you don't mind stairs
The staff pointed us to a family-run trattoria round the corner and it became our regular. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three.
Not a single thing, which almost never happens.

7.2Would think twice
Wifi was quick enough for email, maps and an evening of streaming.
Blackout blinds would make a difference in October, when it is bright by six.

The roof terrace at sunset is the reason to book this place - we went up every night.

10.0The best night's sleep of the trip
We nearly booked somewhere flashier and I am glad we did not. The concierge booked the museum slots we had failed to get online - we forgot it was a public holiday and they sorted us a table anyway.

10.0Perfect for a long weekend
Booked late and got lucky. Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked. Astonishingly quiet for somewhere this central - we never heard the street once. Steam room, cold plunge and somewhere to lie down afterwards, all included.
Nothing worth writing here.

10.0Better than the photographs
The kids club actually did things rather than parking them in front of a screen, so we got two mornings to ourselves. Two pools means the quiet one stays quiet, which we did not expect.
