Pleasant but noisy at night
Green Point is pleasant to wander in the evening, and nothing felt far. Good set-up for families - a shallow pool, high chairs and staff who do not mind noise.
The curtains do not quite meet in the middle, so you are up with the light.

Very good, minor niggles
They cook eggs how you ask and the bread comes from the bakery opposite, still warm. We upgraded to the Superior Twin Room and would do it again without thinking. We ended up in the same corner cafe three mornings running, which tells you something about Green Point.
A second bedside lamp and a couple more sockets would finish the room off.

Lovely staff, lovely building
Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three. Shuttle runs often enough that we never checked the timetable twice. No faff with the room: dark, cool and quiet by ten.
Hot water was slow to arrive on the sixth floor first thing.

The one to book in Green Point
A bell rings somewhere nearby on the hour and I stopped noticing it by the second day. Warm room, thick curtains and dark afternoons spent reading - exactly what November is for.

Not terrible, not memorable
Green Point is pleasant to wander in the evening, and nothing felt far. They keep a pillow menu at reception and actually bring what you ask for. You get more for the money here than at the two places we priced up in Green Point.
We were moved rooms on the Wednesday at an hour's notice with no explanation. Breakfast is the same every day, which by the third morning we had noticed.

We have already rebooked
The kids club actually did things rather than parking them in front of a screen, so we got two mornings to ourselves. The airport transfer was waiting with our name up at one in the morning, which took all the stress out of arriving.
We were reminded about the half past ten checkout twice on the Thursday, which felt unnecessary.
