No faff with the room: dark, cool and quiet by ten.

Comfortable enough for three nights
Right, so. Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside. Room was warm enough in December, which was the main worry - comfortable bed, and they brought firmer pillows within ten minutes of asking.
The grouting in the bathroom is tired and no amount of cleaning will fix it now. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom except the edge of the basin.

Does what it says
The stairs creak in a way that is either charming or annoying depending on how tired you are. Clean and tidy throughout the stay. The desk kept an eye out for me without making a thing of it.
It is a good fifteen minutes from the nearest tram stop, further than the listing suggests.

Good location, average room
Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
Breakfast is the same every day, which by the last morning I had noticed. Towels are changed only on request, which is sensible but was not explained.

Unhappy from check-in to check-out
Cheap, and now I understand why.
I reported a broken shower on arrival and it was still broken when I left five days later. I was given a different room from the one I booked, smaller and facing the bins, with no adjustment to the price. The desk was stretched thin and it showed - three requests went unanswered.

Underfloor heating in the bathroom in August is a small luxury that we noticed every morning. the little one were in the pool from nine until they were dragged out, and the shallow end is properly shallow.
