Exactly right
I upgraded to the Deluxe King Room and would do it again without thinking. Travelling on my own, I never felt uneasy walking back into Nowa Huta late at night.
Genuinely nothing worth writing down.

Iron that heats up, a mirror you can knot a tie in, and enough sockets by the bed.
Checkout at nine is early when you have an evening flight.

Best breakfast of the trip
our daughter were in the pool from nine until they were dragged out, and the shallow end is properly shallow. Within two streets there is a rooftop bar and a proper greengrocer, so we ate well and cheaply. The neighbour opposite waters her balcony at seven every morning and says hello.
Check-in is not until four and there is nowhere comfortable to wait.

Nice staff, tired building
Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced.
Scaffolding went up on the building opposite halfway through my stay. The radiator clanked from about half past six every morning.

Better than the price suggests
Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three. The staff pointed us to a jazz cellar round the corner and it became our regular.
Parking nearby is expensive, though that is Kraków rather than the hotel.

Expected far more
Mixed feelings about this one. Pleasant bar for a nightcap, and they do not rush you out of it. The Standard Double Room is at least well laid out for the size.
The bathroom fan runs for twenty-five minutes after you leave and is loud. No lift, and it is four flights with a hard turn at the top. Worth knowing before you book.
