Fine for a couple of nights
The window in the bathroom looks straight onto a wall covered in jasmine. Clean and tidy throughout the stay. They let us sit in the courtyard with our own wine on the last night.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed.

Good from check-in onwards
Right, so. Spot on for a first visit - you can walk out of the door and start. Somebody on the desk at three in the morning when our flight finally landed, still cheerful.
The shower takes a good minute to warm up, which adds up over four days.

Small place, big heart
Opened the shutters on the first morning and just stood there for a minute. They put a cot in without being asked and left a small plate of fruit for both boys. Our flight landed at one in the morning and the man on the desk still made us a tea.
Nobody was on the desk for about forty minutes when we arrived on the Sunday.

Exactly right
We upgraded to the Beachfront Suite and would do it again without thinking; we spent both evenings in the bar downstairs and never felt hurried out of it. Housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms.
We were reminded about the half past ten checkout twice on the Thursday, which felt unnecessary.

Slept like a stone
The courtyard rooms hear nothing but pigeons, which is the whole point; housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms.

Fine, and fine is enough
our son were happy, which is most of the review. The rate held steady when we added a night, which we appreciated.
There is construction across the street that starts at six, so bring earplugs.
