Happy we booked it
Firm mattress, which suits us, and a duvet that is not the usual thin thing. Somebody had left a shelf of paperbacks by the window and I got through two of them.
No complaints from us this time.

Ten out of ten for Downtown Al-Balad
For Amman, this is a properly central spot without the coach parties. They put a cot in without being asked and left a small plate of fruit for our two.
I have sat here for a minute and cannot think of anything.

Easy to recommend
Right, so. In at eleven at night, out at six, and everything worked. That is all I need. I ended up in the same corner cafe three mornings running, which tells you something about Downtown Al-Balad.
Checkout is half past nine and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.

A find
The concierge booked the museum slots I had failed to get online. My taxi driver could not find the entrance and drove past it twice, so save the map pin.
Only that everywhere else now has a lot to live up to.

Two nights was enough
Wanted to like it more than we did. They keep a pillow menu at reception and actually bring what you ask for. Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
The wall to the corridor carries every conversation, and there was one at eleven on the Saturday.
