Worth it for Friedrichshain
Nobody blinked at a table for one, which is not true everywhere.
Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom except the edge of the basin.

Genuinely special
Spotless, including the places nobody checks - skirting boards, the kettle, under the bed. Washer and a drying rack, so we travelled home with a clean bag. For what we paid in October, this was the best value stay of the trip by a distance.

Reliable rather than exciting
Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing. the children were happy, which is most of the review. Reception were helpful when we needed a doctor's address, which we appreciated.
Waiting forty seconds for the lift each time adds up when you go back for a jumper.

Spoiled us completely
Cheaper than the chain hotels two streets over and considerably nicer. Easy to park right outside and no hunting around at midnight. Underfloor heating in the bathroom in September is a small luxury that I noticed every morning. The radiator clanked at about two in the morning and then settled down, and honestly I grew fond of it.

Good location, mixed stay
Fine, with caveats - clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about. The shuttle runs on the hour and drops you right at the terminal.
The connection slowed to nothing each evening from about nine, when the place fills up. The bathroom door catches on the bed frame, which tells you the size of the Junior Suite.

Better on price than polish
Easy place to stay on your own, and the area is fine to walk at night - the room was cleaned properly every day and the bins were never left.
Thin walls, so I knew a fair amount about my neighbours and their travel plans.
