Well run and welcoming
Paulo sorted a late checkout on the last day without us even having to push for it.
Parking nearby is expensive, though that is Bangkok rather than the hotel.

Warm welcome in Thonglor
I left a charger behind and it arrived at home nine days later, no charge for the postage. Check-in was quick and human, and they remembered my names for the rest of the stay.
There is one toaster for the whole room, so there is a queue at half past nine.

Lovely, if you don't mind stairs
Turned up late, tired and grumpy, and were looked after. We ended up in the same corner cafe three mornings running, which tells you something about Thonglor. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three.
Checkout at eleven is early when you have an evening flight.

Rare to get it all right
They lent us an umbrella on the wet Tuesday and did not ask for it back until we left. our youngest were in the pool from nine until they were dragged out, and the shallow end is properly shallow.
The keycards demagnetised twice and we had to go back down to the desk.

Hard to recommend at this rate
The desk kept an eye out for me without making a thing of it - the shuttle runs on the hour and drops you right at the terminal. Thonglor is pleasant to wander in the evening, and nothing felt far.
The last two hundred metres are steep and cobbled - not a problem, just plan for it. Coffee at breakfast comes from a machine rather than the bar downstairs, which is a shame.

Best breakfast of the trip
Someone has planted herbs in pots by the door and you are clearly meant to use them. No faff with the room: dark, cool and quiet by ten.
