Disappointing, sadly
Wanted to like it more than we did. Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which we prefer.
The extractor does not cope, so the mirror is useless after the first shower. The bathroom is clean but the fittings belong to a previous decade.

Some good, some frustrating
Fabio at the desk was the standout - patient and genuinely useful. Reasonably peaceful at the back of the building. They let us sit in the courtyard with our own wine on the last night.
The aircon unit drips onto the balcony floor, which we mentioned on the Thursday. The bins have to go out on a Monday, which we only discovered on the last day.

Would not book again
Wanted to like it more than I did. It is priced sensibly, and that counts for something. The room was at least clean when I arrived.
Cleanliness was not what it should be - I found the previous guest's earring under the bed. The air conditioning rattled on the second night; maintenance swapped a part the next morning.

A find
The window in the bathroom looks straight onto a wall covered in jasmine. No faff with the room: dark, cool and quiet by ten. Living like a resident rather than a guest for a week: market, kitchen, balcony, repeat. KLCC turned out to be exactly the right call - everything we had pinned was walkable.
I have sat here for a minute and cannot think of anything.

Worth every penny and then some
There is a lift, which in a building this old is a small miracle. The kettle was already descaled, which is the kind of detail that tells you how a place is run.
The walk back from KL Forest Eco Park is all uphill, which we had not thought about.

Would stay again at that price
We are fussy about where we sleep; plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced. The rate held steady when we added a night, which we appreciated.
For the money we expected a little more attention to detail.
