Simple and clean
I nearly booked somewhere flashier and I am glad I did not. Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about. Nobody blinked at a table for one, which is not true everywhere. Two bus routes and a tram stop within a few minutes, so I got around easily.
Service in the bar was slow when it filled up after ten.

A find
For what I paid in August, this was the best value stay of the trip by a distance. Milo sorted a late checkout on the last day without me even having to push for it. I ended up in the same corner cafe three mornings running, which tells you something about Bondi Beach.
Honestly, nothing.

The one to book in Bondi Beach
I spent both evenings in the bar downstairs and never felt hurried out of it.
I was reminded about the ten checkout twice on the Tuesday, which felt unnecessary. Check-in is not until four and there is nowhere comfortable to wait.

Good bones, tired edges
The neighbour opposite waters her balcony at seven every morning and says hello. Clean and tidy throughout the stay. Fair value for Sydney prices, particularly in high season. Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside.
Service in the bar was slow when it filled up after ten. Getting a taxi to find the entrance took some explaining.

Nothing was too much trouble - a spare adapter, a table booking, a taxi at dawn.
The curtains do not quite meet in the middle, so you are up with the light.

Would book again on price
They keep a jar of sweets by the lift that nobody admits to eating from. Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing.
Nobody was on the desk for about twenty-five minutes when I arrived on the Monday.
