Long weekend, first time in Gamla Stan. Double glazing that works, so the tram going past is a rumour rather than an event. Twenty minutes to the conference centre, laundry back same day, invoice correct first time.

6.5One night too many
Some of this worked, some of it did not. Three rooms on the same floor, which saved a lot of shouting up stairwells.
Not much space to move around the bed once a case is open on the floor.

7.7Reliable rather than exciting
Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out. The gym has what you need for a week away and is never busy.
Dust on the top of the wardrobe and behind the door, which I noticed on the third day.

Parking is available and reasonably priced for the area. Breakfast is an extra, and worth it for fresh figs and yoghurt alone.
Delivery vans start up under the window from around half past six.

Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs. The Standard Double Room suited us well for a short stay.
You cannot set the aircon below twenty-three, which in November is not quite enough.

9.0Great few days in Gamla Stan
Room service arrived in fifteen minutes at half past ten, which is why I book here.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed.
