Room for improvement
Clean and tidy throughout the stay. Connection was good enough to work from for a morning. Reception were helpful when we needed a doctor's address, which we appreciated.
One radiator for the whole room, and in December that is not quite enough.

Clean and quiet, close to everything
Third time in Vancouver and the first time we have got the hotel right. Spotless, including the places nobody checks - skirting boards, the kettle, under the bed.
Hot water was slow to arrive on the third floor first thing.

Falls well short
Fine, with caveats. At least there was plenty for our youngest to do. The neighbour opposite waters her balcony at seven every morning and says hello.
The radiator clanked from about half past six every morning. Thin walls, so we knew a fair amount about our neighbours and their travel plans.

Would think twice
A desk of a usable size, a proper chair and sockets where you need them. The bathroom is cleverly laid out and the shower is hot and fast. Wifi was quick enough for email, maps and an evening of streaming.
The shower door leaks a little onto the bathroom floor. One person on the desk at nine in the evening means a queue when the airport bus arrives.

Two nights was enough
The Superior Twin Room is well organised and everything has somewhere to go.
The lift takes one suitcase and a hopeful expression, so there is a queue at ten in the morning. Checkout at half past nine is early when you have an evening flight.

Better than the price suggests
Went in with low expectations after the last place. There is a lift, which in a building this old is a small miracle. There is a good market on Saturday about twelve minutes away that nobody had told us about. Easy to park right outside and no hunting around at midnight.
Loading and unloading outside is awkward on a street that narrow.
