Decent, with reservations
West Bay is pleasant to wander in the evening, and nothing felt far.
Only one socket by the bed, and the switch for it is behind the headboard.

We moved hotel
The morning coffee was fine, which is a thin thing to end on. The location is genuinely good, and that is the only reason this is not lower.
Wifi dropped out constantly, which mattered because I was working. The room smelled strongly of damp and the window did not open to air it out.

Hard to recommend at this rate
They let us sit in the courtyard with our own wine on the last night. The gym has what you need for a week away and is never busy. The pool is a good size and always clean.
Wifi drops in the far rooms, so I took calls in the lobby. Thin walls, so we knew a fair amount about our neighbours and their travel plans.

Slept like a stone
The restaurant does a short menu properly rather than a long one badly. The pool was never crowded, even in August, and there were always dry towels. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three.
Checkout is half past ten and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.

Strong all round
Worth every penny, and we do not say that often. In July you need the aircon to work properly, and here it does.
Checkout at nine is early when you have an evening flight.

Cancelled the rest of our stay
Cheap, and now I understand why.
Where to start. The bed linen was stained. We asked for it to be changed and waited until nearly ten that night. We were charged a cleaning fee that was not in the booking and had to argue to get it back. It needs a refurbishment rather than another coat of paint, and the price has not caught up with that.
