Passable, at a push
Somebody had left a shelf of paperbacks by the window and I got through two of them. Easy place to stay on your own, and the area is fine to walk at night.
The restaurant is fine but you would not choose it if you were not already staying there. Bin lorry at about half past seven on the Thursday, and I heard every bottle.

As good as Muscat gets
Went in with low expectations after the last place. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three. There is a lift, which in a building this old is a small miracle.
I have sat here for a minute and cannot think of anything.

Great base for Muscat
They put a cot in without being asked and left a small plate of fruit for the little one. Plenty of storage in the Junior Suite, which sounds dull until you have unpacked for a fortnight. Astonishingly quiet for somewhere this central - we never heard the street once.
Loading and unloading outside is awkward on a street that narrow.

One to avoid at this price
At least there was plenty for our youngest to do.
The restaurant is fine but you would not choose it if you were not already staying there. We asked twice about the noise and nothing came of it.

Very happy indeed
Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night. They keep a jar of sweets by the lift that nobody admits to eating from.
The curtains do not quite meet in the middle, so you are up with the light.

Two nights was enough
The Junior Suite is well organised and everything has somewhere to go. Reception were helpful when I needed a doctor's address, which I appreciated. Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs.
The furniture is dated and the corridors could do with a repaint.
