Good value for Sea Point
Slept better than at home, which after four flights in a week is saying something. They put a cot in without being asked and left a small plate of fruit for our two.
Only that we had to leave.

Left slightly deflated
Wanted to like it more than we did. Comfortable bed, and they brought firmer pillows within ten minutes of asking. They let us sit in the courtyard with our own wine on the last night. Bag storage on the last day was useful.
The bathroom door catches on the bed frame, which tells you the size of the Deluxe King Room.

One night too many
Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced. Firm mattress, which is exactly how we like it. A cat lives in the courtyard and considers the chairs to be hers.
The kitchen closes at half past ten, which we found out the hard way on the Sunday.

A stay of two halves
Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced. A washing machine in the flat, which halfway through a long trip is a real thing. There is a coffee machine in the room, which saved us a few euros a day.
Waiting forty seconds for the lift each time adds up when you go back for a jumper.

A find
A proper coffee machine in the room, not sachets of dust. For what I paid in October, this was the best value stay of the trip by a distance. Paulo at the concierge desk got me a table at a place that had told me it was fully booked.

Iron that heats up, a mirror you can knot a tie in, and enough sockets by the bed.
The buffet gets picked over if you arrive after eleven. The last two hundred metres are steep and cobbled - not a problem, just plan for it.
