Easy stay, no dramas
the morning coffee in the lobby is free all day and genuinely good. The bed was the surprise: firm, wide and made up with linen that actually felt like linen. Our taxi driver could not find the entrance and drove past it twice, so save the map pin.
It is uphill from the metro, which you feel with our bags in the heat.

Very happy indeed
The wifi held up through a two-hour video call without a single drop. They cook eggs how you ask and the bread comes from the bakery opposite, still warm.
Nothing that would stop us booking again tomorrow.

eight minutes from Lake Zurich
Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night. Breakfast is worth getting up for: almond croissants, the espresso made to order and fruit that tasted of something.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed. Getting a taxi to find the entrance took some explaining.

Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning. Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing.
It is a good seven minutes from the nearest tram stop, further than the listing suggests. A second bedside lamp and a couple more sockets would finish the room off.

No surprises, good or bad
Turned up late, tired and grumpy, and were looked after. Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs.
Parking nearby is expensive, though that is Zurich rather than the hotel.

We ended up in the same corner cafe three mornings running, which tells you something about Seefeld.
