Paid for a hotel, got a building site
The bed itself was comfortable. Everything around it was not.
Building work started at six every morning and nobody mentioned it when we booked. Breakfast was advertised and included, then turned out to be cereal and instant coffee. There was mould in the corner of the bathroom ceiling and the extractor did not work. We asked twice about the noise and nothing came of it.

Needs some attention
Somebody had left a shelf of paperbacks by the window and I got through two of them. The rate held steady when we added a night, which we appreciated.
Thin walls, so we knew a fair amount about our neighbours and their travel plans.

Pleasant but noisy at night
Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about. The rate held steady when we added a night, which we appreciated. The lift has one of those inner doors you have to pull shut, which the children opposite treated as the highlight of their week.
five floors and no lift - the Superior Twin Room is lovely once you get up there with the cases.

Comfortable enough
Worked well for a group of us, with somewhere to sit together in the evening. They keep a pillow menu at reception and actually bring what you ask for.
Towels are changed only on request, which is sensible but was not explained.

Good spot, tired rooms
Wanted to like it more than I did. Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs.
It is a good five minutes from the nearest tram stop, further than the listing suggests.

Lovely staff, lovely building
Proper shower pressure and hot water immediately, not after a minute of hoping. There is a good market on Saturday about ten minutes away that nobody had told us about.
The shower takes a good minute to warm up, which adds up over five days.
