Nice place, tired lift
Would come back tomorrow. We arrived hours early and they took the cases without a fuss, then messaged when the room was ready.
The last two hundred metres are steep and cobbled - not a problem, just plan for it.

Left slightly deflated
Good position overall, and we walked most places rather than paying for cabs. Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out.
The bed is too firm for us - we ended up putting the spare duvet under the sheet.

Frustrating from the start
Booked on the photographs, which was my mistake. Parking is available and reasonably priced for the area. At least there was plenty for our two to do.
It is showing its age in places - a chipped door frame here, a tired carpet there. Not much space to move around the bed once a case is open on the floor.

Fine if you're out all day
Booked this on a whim and glad I did. The aircon held the room cool all through the August heat. Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs.
Blackout blinds would make a difference in August, when it is bright by six.

One to avoid at this price
Someone has planted herbs in pots by the door and you are clearly meant to use them. The room was at least clean when I arrived.
No lift, and it is three flights with a hard turn at the top. Worth knowing before you book. The aircon unit drips onto the balcony floor, which I mentioned on the Saturday.

Strong on location and staff
Room service arrived in fifteen minutes at half past ten, which is why I book here. No faff with the room: dark, cool and quiet by ten. The Junior Suite is bigger than the photographs suggest and cleverly laid out.
No full-length mirror anywhere in the Junior Suite. Checkout at eleven is early when you have an evening flight.
