Fair value for Tokyo prices, particularly in high season.
Checkout is nine and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast. Towels are changed only on request, which is sensible but was not explained.

Travelling on my own, I never felt uneasy walking back into Ginza late at night.
Nothing - we have already looked at dates for next year.

8.8Easy to recommend
Astonishingly quiet for somewhere this central - we never heard the street once. Proper shower pressure and hot water immediately, not after a minute of hoping. Housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms. The building is residential, so the stairwell smells of somebody's dinner rather than air freshener.
It is a good seven minutes from the nearest tram stop, further than the listing suggests.

Mixed feelings about this one. Feels like a real home rather than a rental, which I prefer.
The stairwell light is on a timer that runs out halfway up. No full-length mirror anywhere in the flat.

Mixed feelings about this one. A desk of a usable size, a proper chair and sockets where you need them.
Thin walls, so we knew a fair amount about our neighbours and their travel plans. It needs a refurbishment rather than another coat of paint, and the price has not caught up with that.
