7.7Decent, with reservations
Reception were helpful when we needed a doctor's address, which we appreciated. The lift has one of those inner doors you have to pull shut, which the children opposite treated as the highlight of their week. Kitchen is well enough equipped for simple cooking. Connection was good enough to work from for a morning.
It is uphill from the metro, which you feel with the suitcases in the heat.

8.7Better than the price suggests
Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night.
Check-in is not until four and there is nowhere comfortable to wait.

Not fancy, but that was never the point. Fabio on reception had us checked in inside three minutes and drew a map of the area on the spot. Blackout curtains that meet in the middle, a mattress with some life in it, and silence after eleven.
Genuinely nothing worth writing down.

9.5Somewhere to come back to
Someone has planted herbs in pots by the door and you are clearly meant to use them. We arrived hours early and they took our bags without a fuss, then messaged when the room was ready.

The roof terrace at sunset is the reason to book this place - we went up every night. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three.
