The Superior Twin Room suited me well for a short stay; quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out.
Scaffolding went up on the building opposite halfway through my stay.

Well run and welcoming
Dimitri on reception had us checked in inside three minutes and drew a map of the area on the spot. Underfloor heating in the bathroom in October is a small luxury that we noticed every morning. Within two streets there is a bakery and a proper greengrocer, so we ate well and cheaply.
One person on the desk at ten in the evening means a queue when the airport bus arrives.

Stayed three nights, wanted five
Good toiletries in refillable bottles, and towels changed without being asked twice. Cheaper than the chain hotels two streets over and considerably nicer. I ended up in the same corner cafe three mornings running, which tells you something about Mitte.
Street parking is free after nine and impossible before it.

Pleasant but noisy at night
Check-in was straightforward and the desk answered questions properly. both boys were happy, which is most of the review.
Loading and unloading outside is awkward on a street that narrow.

The address is the best thing about it
Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside.
A bottle of water in the room costs what a bottle of wine costs on the corner.

Adequate and well placed
Reception were helpful when we needed a doctor's address, which we appreciated. The room was cleaned properly every day and the bins were never left.
One person on the desk at ten in the evening means a queue when the airport bus arrives. Thin walls, so we knew a fair amount about our neighbours and their travel plans.
