Hotel Boulevard Beverly Hills occupies a corner of Beverly Hills that puts Santa Monica Pier on one side and the market on the other. Expect airport shuttle on request and, if you ask, generous breakfast buffet. Reviews are consistent year after year, which is the best sign there is.

Would give it less if I could
One of the cleaners was lovely and clearly working with nothing.
Booked for four nights and spent most of them wishing we had not. Wifi dropped out constantly, which mattered because I was working. Breakfast was advertised and included, then turned out to be cereal and instant coffee.

Better options in Beverly Hills
We slept well: the room is dark, cool and quiet after ten. They keep a jar of sweets by the lift that nobody admits to eating from. Good set-up for families - a shallow pool, high chairs and staff who do not mind noise. Breakfast is an extra, and worth it for fresh figs and yoghurt alone.
The desk was stretched thin and it showed - three requests went unanswered. Only one socket by the bed, and the switch for it is behind the headboard.

Would look elsewhere next time
Efficient and predictable, which is what a two-night work trip needs. Beverly Hills is pleasant to wander in the evening, and nothing felt far.
The restaurant is fine but you would not choose it if you were not already staying there.

Not quite worth it
Two nights, and two would have been plenty. Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside. The shuttle runs on the hour and drops you right at the terminal.
Check-in is not until four and there is nowhere comfortable to wait. The bathroom door catches on the bed frame, which tells you the size of the Superior Twin Room.

Ticked every box that mattered
Came for two nights, stayed four. They keep a jar of sweets by the lift that nobody admits to eating from. Twenty minutes to the conference centre, laundry back same day, invoice correct first time.
Nothing - we have already looked at dates for next year.

Location carries it
The rate held steady when we added a night, which we appreciated. Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside. The kettle was already descaled, which is the kind of detail that tells you how a place is run.
Hot water was slow to arrive on the fourth floor first thing.
