Decent, with reservations
Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced. The desk kept an eye out for me without making a thing of it.
The kitchen closes at eleven, which I found out the hard way on the Friday. Not much space to move around the bed once a case is open on the floor.

Ask for a room at the back
We booked for three nights and extended to five, which tells you what we thought of the price. The courtyard rooms hear nothing but pigeons, which is the whole point.
Checkout is half past nine and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.

Stayed three nights, wanted five
We are fussy about where we sleep. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three. They lent us an umbrella on the wet Tuesday and did not ask for it back until we left.
One person on the desk at ten in the evening means a queue when the airport bus arrives.

Some good, some frustrating
Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning. The rate held steady when I added a night, which I appreciated.
The extractor does not cope, so the mirror is useless after the first shower. Roadworks on the corner from seven on the Monday, and nobody had warned me.

Would book again on price
Right, so. We slept well: the room is dark, cool and quiet after ten.
Mosquitoes in the evening once the doors are open - the shop on the corner sells the plug-ins.

Checked out early and did not look back
It is quiet during the day, if that is any use to anyone.
The bed linen was stained. I asked for it to be changed and waited until nearly eleven that night. The heating did not come on for the whole stay and it was June. The photographs show a refurbished room. Ours was not one of them, and the carpet was visibly worn through. The room I was given was not the one I booked and it took four conversations to be moved.
