I left a charger behind and it arrived at home nine days later, no charge for the postage; we upgraded to the Standard Double Room and would do it again without thinking.

Reception were helpful when we needed a doctor's address, which we appreciated. The rate held steady when we added a night, which we appreciated.
Wifi drops in the far rooms, so I took calls in the lobby.

9.6Faultless from start to finish
Hard to beat the position: Trevi Fountain one way, the market the other, and no need for a taxi all week. Plenty of storage in the Superior Twin Room, which sounds dull until you have unpacked for a fortnight. Room service arrived in fifteen minutes at half past ten, which is why I book here.

Room service arrived in fifteen minutes at half past ten, which is why I book here; the wifi held up through a two-hour video call without a single drop.
Checkout is half past nine and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.

8.5Does the important things well
Spotless, including the places nobody checks - skirting boards, the kettle, under the bed. Somebody had left a shelf of paperbacks by the window and I got through two of them. The bathroom is bigger than the one at home, with a rain shower and a bench to put things on.
Nothing here. Do book it.

7.4Handy, if a little dated
Booked this on a whim and glad we did. The room was cleaned properly every day and the bins were never left. Easy place to be a group without annoying anyone.
No kettle in the room, which for a British guest is practically a design flaw. The furniture is dated and the corridors could do with a repaint.
