Several things went wrong
It is priced sensibly, and that counts for something.
The heating is on a timer and goes off at about half past nine, which in December you feel by morning.

Does the job
Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside.
Roadworks on the corner from six on the Wednesday, and nobody had warned me.

Spoiled us completely
They kept the suitcases until the evening flight and even brought them down to the taxi. the flat whites in the lobby is free all day and genuinely good.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed. Street parking is free after nine and impossible before it.

Fine for a couple of nights
I left a charger behind and it arrived at home nine days later, no charge for the postage. Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
It is showing its age in places - a chipped door frame here, a tired carpet there.

Comfortable and well placed
Nadia on reception had me checked in inside three minutes and drew a map of the area on the spot. Travelling on my own, I never felt uneasy walking back into Charlottenburg late at night.

Not terrible, not memorable
There is a coffee machine in the room, which saved us a few euros a day. The front door code worked every time, which sounds like a low bar until you have stayed somewhere it did not.
Scaffolding went up on the building opposite halfway through our stay.
