Better than the street suggests
Fast, stable wifi in the room rather than only in the lobby, which is rarer than it should be. Twenty minutes to the conference centre, laundry back same day, invoice correct first time.
Street parking is free after half past nine and impossible before it.

One to avoid at this price
At least there was plenty for our daughter to do.
Aircon only runs when the balcony door is properly shut, and the catch is temperamental. The extractor does not cope, so the mirror is useless after the first shower.

Would stay again at that price
The room was cleaned properly every day and the bins were never left.
The lift is slow enough that we walked down from the fourth floor most days.

Average stay in a good spot
The restaurant is convenient and priced about where you would expect. Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning. Bag storage on the last day was useful.
The mattress dips in the middle, which after four nights you notice. We asked twice about the noise and nothing came of it.

Good sleep, good breakfast
The bed was the surprise: firm, wide and made up with linen that actually felt like linen. Travelling on my own, I never felt uneasy walking back into Ubud late at night.
Nothing, unless you count the taxi driver on the way out.

Genuinely poor
It is close to Tanah Lot, and that is the whole of the good news. Nothing I would put in this box, and I have thought about it.
I wanted to sleep somewhere clean and quiet, and got neither. I reported a broken shower on arrival and it was still broken when I left four days later. The lock on the door did not engage properly, which is not something you want to discover at midnight. I was moved rooms on the Sunday at an hour's notice with no explanation.
