9.1Better than the street suggests
Half board with a children's sitting at six meant we ate dinner in peace afterwards. Not a mark anywhere, and the room smelled of nothing at all, which is exactly right.
The keycards demagnetised twice and we had to go back down to the desk.

9.2Easy stay, no dramas
The kids club actually did things rather than parking them in front of a screen, so we got two mornings to ourselves. The restaurant does a short menu properly rather than a long one badly. I ran two client calls from the desk and the room was quiet enough that nobody asked where I was.
Check-in is not until four and there is nowhere comfortable to wait. The shower takes a good minute to warm up, which adds up over five days.

Historic Centre is pleasant to wander in the evening, and nothing felt far. Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about.
The bathroom fan runs for forty minutes after you leave and is loud.

7.5Fine if you're out all day
Worked well for a group of us, with somewhere to sit together in the evening. Reasonably peaceful at the back of the building.
Hot water was slow to arrive on the fifth floor first thing.

They let us sit in the courtyard with our own wine on the last night. Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about.
The sofa bed in the Family Room is not somewhere you would want a second week.

6.7Better in the photos
They keep a pillow menu at reception and actually bring what you ask for. The window in the bathroom looks straight onto a wall covered in jasmine. The rate held steady when we added a night, which we appreciated.
The curtains do not quite meet in the middle, so you are up with the light. Getting a taxi to find the entrance took some explaining.
