Location carries it
Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside.
There is construction across the street that starts at seven, so bring earplugs.

Great few days in Jumeirah Beach
Lift straight from the street to the floor, so the suitcases were never a problem.
We were reminded about the half past nine checkout twice on the Thursday, which felt unnecessary. Check-in is not until four and there is nowhere comfortable to wait.

Better in the photos
Good for a few nights alone - I was left to get on with it.
Loading and unloading outside is awkward on a street that narrow. Mosquitoes in the evening once the doors are open - the shop on the corner sells the plug-ins.

Would book again on price
The bathroom is cleverly laid out and the shower is hot and fast.
The last two hundred metres are steep and cobbled - not a problem, just plan for it.

Not quite worth it
Three rooms on the same floor, which saved a lot of shouting up stairwells. Good position overall, and we walked most places rather than paying for cabs.
Not much space to move around the bed once a case is open on the floor. Wasps around the breakfast tables in June, which is hardly their fault.

Everything we hoped for
We are fussy about where we sleep. We are not usually breakfast people and we went down every morning. Room service arrived in fifteen minutes at half past ten, which is why I book here.
