Solid choice, would return
Astonishingly quiet for somewhere this central - we never heard the street once.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed.

twenty-five minutes from Sentosa Island
Booked late and got lucky. Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night.

Fair value for Singapore
Nobody blinked at a table for one, which is not true everywhere. The shuttle runs on the hour and drops you right at the terminal - the radiator clanked at about two in the morning and then settled down, and honestly I grew fond of it.
Thin walls, so I knew a fair amount about my neighbours and their travel plans.

Easy to recommend
In at eleven at night, out at six, and everything worked. That is all I need. I uploaded a large file from the room in minutes and nobody at the other end noticed I was away.
No kettle in the room, which for a British guest is practically a design flaw.
