Nothing worked as advertised
Nothing I would put in this box, and I have thought about it.
The bed linen was stained. We asked for it to be changed and waited until nearly half past ten that night. The heating did not come on for the whole stay and it was November.

Clean and quiet, close to everything
Spotless, including the places nobody checks - skirting boards, the kettle, under the bed.

Frustrating from the start
Reasonably peaceful at the back of the building. There is a shortcut through the square that saves about five minutes and somebody drew it on our map.
The bathroom fan runs for twenty minutes after you leave and is loud. The window seals are not what they could be and Ezelstraat is not a silent neighbourhood.

They put a cot in without being asked and left a small plate of fruit for the children.

Very good, minor niggles
Straight to it: the location is the thing. We booked for three nights and extended to five, which tells you what we thought of the price. In July you need the aircon to work properly, and here it does.
Nothing worth mentioning, and that is rare.

The bathroom is cleverly laid out and the shower is hot and fast.
We were reminded about the ten checkout twice on the Sunday, which felt unnecessary.
