Does the job
Comfortable bed, and they brought firmer pillows within ten minutes of asking. Good spread at breakfast and they keep the coffee coming.
The carpet on the sixth floor is due for replacing.

Practical rather than charming
A washing machine in the flat, which halfway through a long trip is a real thing - we slept well: the room is dark, cool and quiet after ten.
Breakfast is the same every day, which by the second morning we had noticed.

Fine, and fine is enough
Short version: yes. A cat lives in the courtyard and considers the chairs to be hers. The Family Room is well organised and everything has somewhere to go. Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
The kitchen closes at ten, which I found out the hard way on the Friday.

Could not have gone better
Iron that heats up, a mirror you can knot a tie in, and enough sockets by the bed - within two streets there is a family-run trattoria and a proper greengrocer, so I ate well and cheaply.
Nothing, unless you count the taxi driver on the way out.

One night too many
Location is the strong point - fifteen minutes to Royal Botanic Garden and a metro stop close by. Good for a few nights alone - I was left to get on with it.
The carpet on the second floor is due for replacing. Not much space to move around the bed once a case is open on the floor.
