A proper welcome
Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night. A proper coffee machine in the room, not sachets of dust.
The shower door leaks a little onto the bathroom floor.

Not fancy, but that was never the point. The lift has one of those inner doors you have to pull shut, which the children opposite treated as the highlight of their week. Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
The mattress dips in the middle, which after four nights you notice.

Rare to get it all right
Nadia at the concierge desk got us a table at a place that had told us it was fully booked. A bell rings somewhere nearby on the hour and we stopped noticing it by the second day.

There is construction across the street that starts at eight, so bring earplugs.

Quiet room, great coffee
Worth every penny, and we do not say that often. The kettle was already descaled, which is the kind of detail that tells you how a place is run.

Not terrible, not memorable
Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about.
Shower pressure drops off when the floor is busy at about half past seven.
