Would think twice
Reception were helpful when I needed a doctor's address, which I appreciated. There is a lift, which I was glad of on the way up with my rucksack.
I was reminded about the half past ten checkout twice on the Thursday, which felt unnecessary.

Better in the photos
Two bus routes and a tram stop within a few minutes, so I got around easily. Good for a few nights alone - I was left to get on with it. Room was warm enough in December, which was the main worry.
Waiting forty seconds for the lift each time adds up when you go back for a jumper.

Simple and clean
Room was warm enough in November, which was the main worry. They keep a pillow menu at reception and actually bring what you ask for.
Getting a taxi to find the entrance took some explaining.

Needs some attention
Comfortable bed, and they brought firmer pillows within ten minutes of asking. Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside.
The carpet on the third floor is due for replacing.

Hard to recommend at this rate
There is a lift, which I was glad of on the way up with my rucksack. Two bus routes and a tram stop within a few minutes, so I got around easily.
Checkout at half past ten is early when you have an evening flight.

Nothing like the listing
The morning coffee was fine, which is a thin thing to end on.
We were given a different room from the one we booked, smaller and facing the bins, with no adjustment to the price. No hot water at all on the third morning, and no warning that the boiler was being worked on. Building work started at half past seven every morning and nobody mentioned it when we booked.
