Mixed, mostly good
The room was cleaned properly every day and the bins were never left. Lovely for a couple of nights away, quiet and personal.
The wall to the corridor carries every conversation, and there was one at half past nine on the Monday.

Faultless from start to finish
Not a mark anywhere, and the room smelled of nothing at all, which is exactly right. We forgot it was a public holiday and they sorted us a table anyway.

Better than the photographs
In at eleven at night, out at six, and everything worked. That is all I need. Walking back from Skyline Gondola after dinner took fifteen minutes and never once felt like a trek.

Good sleep, good breakfast
It feels like a house rather than a hotel, and the owners are around without hovering. The wifi held up through a two-hour video call without a single drop.
The shower takes a good minute to warm up, which adds up over three days. Street parking is free after nine and impossible before it.

Clean and quiet, close to everything
Straight to it: the location is the thing. Nobody made me feel odd about eating alone, and the desk checked I had got back on the wet night.
One person on the desk at eleven in the evening means a queue when the airport bus arrives.

Adequate and well placed
Firm mattress, which is exactly how I like it. Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside.
The mattress dips in the middle, which after two nights you notice.
