Better in the photos
Bag storage on the last day was useful. Parking is available and reasonably priced for the area.
Roadworks on the corner from quarter past seven on the Sunday, and nobody had warned us. The grouting in the bathroom is tired and no amount of cleaning will fix it now.

Reliable rather than exciting
Pleasant bar for a nightcap, and they do not rush you out of it. Prenzlauer Berg is pleasant to wander in the evening, and nothing felt far. A cat lives in the courtyard and considers the chairs to be hers.
The bathroom is clean but the fittings belong to a previous decade.

Good bones, tired edges
Good set-up for families - a shallow pool, high chairs and staff who do not mind noise.
The mattress dips in the middle, which after two nights you notice.

Left slightly deflated
Two nights, and two would have been plenty. our youngest were happy, which is most of the review.
The aircon unit drips onto the balcony floor, which we mentioned on the Wednesday. The curtains do not quite meet in the middle, so you are up with the light.

Strong all round
Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked.
The lift is slow enough that we walked down from the fifth floor most days.

Location good, room less so
Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside. Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced.
Cleanliness was not what it should be - I found the previous guest's earring under the bed.
