Good spot, tired rooms
Check-in was straightforward and the desk answered questions properly. Good spread at breakfast and they keep the coffee coming.
Roadworks on the corner from half past six on the Sunday, and nobody had warned us.

Great base for Zanzibar
Long weekend, first time in Nungwi. We booked for three nights and extended to five, which tells you what we thought of the price. They cook eggs how you ask and the bread comes from the bakery opposite, still warm.
Only one socket by the bed, and the switch for it is behind the headboard.

Tired and overpriced
Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing. Nobody blinked at a table for one, which is not true everywhere. Firm mattress, which is exactly how I like it.
Loading and unloading outside is awkward on a street that narrow.

Genuinely poor
They did refund the second night without arguing, so credit for that. The building is beautiful from the outside.
The fridge in the Superior Twin Room had somebody else's food in it. The lift was out of order the whole week and there is no sign of it being fixed. The desk was stretched thin and it showed - four requests went unanswered.

Booked on the photographs, which was my mistake. Easy place to stay on your own, and the area is fine to walk at night.
The kitchen closes at half past nine, which I found out the hard way on the Thursday. Wifi does not reach the terrace, which is where you actually want to sit.

Would think twice
Good set-up for families - a shallow pool, high chairs and staff who do not mind noise. Comfortable bed, and they brought firmer pillows within ten minutes of asking.
Everything on site is priced for people not counting, from the water to the laundry.
