Friendly and well run
A washing machine halfway through a month on the road is worth more than a minibar.
Only one socket by the bed, and the switch for it is behind the headboard.

Falls well short
It works as a place to sleep between meetings. The location is genuinely good, which is most of why I stuck it out.
Service ranged from warm to indifferent depending on who was working. The bed is too firm for me - I ended up putting the spare duvet under the sheet.

Clean and quiet, close to everything
A washing machine halfway through a month on the road is worth more than a minibar. Housekeeping were quietly excellent and clearly took pride in the rooms. I am not usually breakfast people and I went down every morning.
Checkout at half past nine is early when you have an evening flight.

Not quite worth it
The Pearl is a sensible base, a few streets back from the crowds and still close to everything.
The radiator clanked from about seven every morning. The hot water failed on the third morning and was still off when I left.

Happy we booked it
We spent both evenings in the bar downstairs and never felt hurried out of it. Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked. Washer and a drying rack, so we travelled home with a clean bag.
The curtains do not quite meet in the middle, so you are up with the light. Hot water was slow to arrive on the fourth floor first thing.

One to avoid at this price
Breakfast was fine, and the coffee was better than expected. The Junior Suite is at least well laid out for the size.
The extractor does not cope, so the mirror is useless after the first shower.
