Good from check-in onwards
Proper shower pressure and hot water immediately, not after a minute of hoping. For what I paid in December, this was the best value stay of the trip by a distance. I forgot it was a public holiday and they sorted me a table anyway.
No full-length mirror anywhere in the Standard Double Room.

Not what the photos promised
Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside.
The bathroom fan runs for twenty-five minutes after you leave and is loud. I was reminded about the half past nine checkout twice on the Monday, which felt unnecessary.

Rare to get it all right
Slept better than at home, which after four flights in a week is saying something. The airport transfer was waiting with our name up at one in the morning, which took all the stress out of arriving. The window in the bathroom looks straight onto a wall covered in jasmine.
The walk back to the station on the Thursday, and that is scraping.

Perfectly decent
Went in with low expectations after the last place; the bathroom is cleverly laid out and the shower is hot and fast. The desk is staffed at night, which mattered for my late arrival.
The grouting in the bathroom is tired and no amount of cleaning will fix it now.

Solid choice, would return
I booked for three nights and extended to five, which tells you what I thought of the price. Twenty minutes to the conference centre, laundry back same day, invoice correct first time. The airport transfer was waiting with my name up at one in the morning, which took all the stress out of arriving.
Shower pressure drops off when the floor is busy at about quarter past seven.

Connection was good enough to work from for a morning. Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside.
The shower door leaks a little onto the bathroom floor.
