Falls short of the description
Wifi was quick enough for email, maps and an evening of streaming. Breakfast is an extra, and worth it for proper pastries alone. The Junior Suite is well organised and everything has somewhere to go. Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing.
The lift takes one suitcase and a hopeful expression, so there is a queue at ten in the morning. The carpet on the second floor is due for replacing.

Warm welcome in Innere Stadt
Twenty minutes to the conference centre, laundry back same day, invoice correct first time. Within two streets there is a jazz cellar and a proper greengrocer, so I ate well and cheaply.
Nothing worth docking a point for.

Not clean, not quiet, not cheap
The location is genuinely good, and that is the only reason this is not lower.
The bed linen was stained. I asked for it to be changed and waited until nearly half past ten that night. There was a leak from the ceiling in the bathroom that I reported twice and nothing was done.

Half worked, half didn't
Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out. The Junior Suite is well organised and everything has somewhere to go.
Hot water was slow to arrive on the fifth floor first thing.

Comfortable and well placed
The bed was the surprise: firm, wide and made up with linen that actually felt like linen. The air conditioning made the September heat survivable and it runs quietly.

Cannot recommend it
Not a disaster, just not what I expected; breakfast was fine, and the coffee was better than expected.
Bin lorry at about six on the Saturday, and I heard every bottle. Nobody told me the restaurant was closed for the week until I turned up hungry on the Sunday.
