No complaints, no fireworks
Came for two nights, stayed four. Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing. They keep a jar of sweets by the lift that nobody admits to eating from. the children were happy, which is most of the review.
The bathroom door catches on the bed frame, which tells you the size of the Standard Double Room. The kitchen closes at half past nine, which we found out the hard way on the Friday.

Would think twice
Mixed feelings about this one. Fine for a work trip: quiet floor, quick breakfast, cab rank outside. My taxi driver could not find the entrance and drove past it twice, so save the map pin. Clean bathroom, fresh towels daily, nothing to complain about.
It needs a refurbishment rather than another coat of paint, and the price has not caught up with that.

Really rather good
In at eleven at night, out at six, and everything worked. That is all I need.
Parking nearby is expensive, though that is Tokyo rather than the hotel.

Underwhelmed but not unhappy
The gym has what you need for a week away and is never busy. Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
The last two hundred metres are steep and cobbled - not a problem, just plan for it.

Practical rather than charming
They keep a pillow menu at reception and actually bring what you ask for. The desk kept an eye out for me without making a thing of it. Quiet from about ten at night, once the bar downstairs empties out.
The walk back from Shibuya Crossing is all uphill, which I had not thought about.

Would recommend with one caveat
Four of us across two rooms on the same corridor, which they arranged without being asked.
The car park is a three-minute walk and costs more per night than we expected.
