One to avoid at this price
It works as a place to sleep between meetings. They keep a jar of sweets by the lift that nobody admits to eating from.
It is showing its age in places - a chipped door frame here, a tired carpet there. The air conditioning rattled on the first night; maintenance swapped a part the next morning.

Small place, big heart
Booked late and got lucky. our youngest were in the pool from nine until they were dragged out, and the shallow end is properly shallow.

Comfortable enough for three nights
Easy place to be a group without annoying anyone.
One small lift for four floors - fine unless everyone checks out at once. It is a good ten minutes from the nearest tram stop, further than the listing suggests.

Charming and spotless
I ate in twice out of laziness and were glad both times - the kitchen is better than it needs to be. A real desk with a real chair and a socket at elbow height - somebody has actually worked in a hotel room before. Iron that heats up, a mirror you can knot a tie in, and enough sockets by the bed.
There is no fridge in the room, so the wine I bought stayed warm.

Ticked every box that mattered
Right, so. The radiator clanked at about two in the morning and then settled down, and honestly I grew fond of it. Floriana has that mix of locals and visitors that makes a place feel alive rather than staged. Iron that heats up, a mirror you can knot a tie in, and enough sockets by the bed. The restaurant does a short menu properly rather than a long one badly.
Street parking is free after eleven and impossible before it.

Better in the photos
Not a disaster, just not what we expected. Good set-up for families - a shallow pool, high chairs and staff who do not mind noise. Clean and tidy throughout the stay. Parking is available and reasonably priced for the area.
Dust on the top of the wardrobe and behind the door, which we noticed on the third day. Checkout is ten and a late one costs about as much as another night's breakfast.
